Are You Feeling the RV Escrow? by CONNECTWITHSCOTT 7/12/2011 ON ANOTHER SITE

As Dinarians we have more to be excited about than during any other time in our history with this investment.

So much was done on or before the June 30th deadline. In fact they accomplished so much that many things have only been released through the news days or even weeks later confirming many of the monumental accomplishments of that day. Among the most significant accomplishments of June 30th was the return of the DFI (Development Fund for Iraq) and the complete removal of the final United Nations Sanctions.

On July 1st, Iraq essentially began its economy. Their economy was greatly hampered for the past 20+ years of sanctions following the Kuwaiti invasion by Saddam Hessian. Then in 2003 with the imposition of the harshest sanctions in United Nations History, Iraq’s international economy was simply dismantled and taken away. July 1st was a dawn of a new day in Iraq and returned the country to the world stage.

We know that the value of ANY currency is the economy that supports that currency. So, the returning of Iraq to the international marketplace is absolutely key to our investment. In addition to this the return of the DFI to Iraq is also a key component as it represents the combined wealth and earnings for the whole country since 2003. It funds the projects and infrastructure needed to support the economy, provide for the needs of the people and establishes the viability of Iraq from an investor standpoint.

The vast majority of all that was needed to support a RV of the Iraqi Dinar has already been accomplished. There are a few things that are still in the process of being finalized such as the US Troops, Ebril Agreement, the HCL (Hydrocarbon Law), the Port of Mubarak, the seating of the ministers (Fully completing the GOI Government of Iraq).

The confusing part for most Dinarians is just how tangled and interwoven all of these key elements really are. Each one has a component of the other ones mixed in. Therefore, when we read that one thing is DONE and then we see another part that still appears to be in progress, it can get confusing. Rest assured it is all being done.

In fact the tone of the articles has taken a dramatic change in the past few days. Recently the articles now focus mainly on “implementing” each of these things mentioned above. The articles used to use words like “talking about” or “discussing” or “hope to reach an agreement on”. Then more recently the articles have changed their language and tone to things like “has been decided” and “as agreed upon” etc. etc. etc. Over the past few days most of the articles now focus on words like “Implementing the agreement”, etc.

As investors, with news like this, we should be dancing in the streets. Are you dancing in the streets yet?

I have tried to sum up my own feelings and maybe you can relate… Imagine if you’ve spent months and months looking for a new home. You’ve spent hours upon hours scouring the internet for your new perfect place. Once you’ve narrowed down your list, you’ve then called the realtor and schedule appointments to tour the homes that made their way onto your “short list”. After thousands of hours online looking for your perfect place, then hundreds of hours touring home after home, you’ve finally decided on one… You’ve found your new home! It is very exciting! You run the numbers and your Realtor creates the contract. You meet them at their office and with butterflies in your stomach, you take the bold leap, sign your name & submit the offer!

Then what happens?

Nothing… You wait…

Behind the scenes, much is being done to implement your offer. Home inspections, title searches, fund verifications, contracts, mortgage brokers are doing their thing, banks are involved, electronic funds are moved into escrow accounts, etc, etc, etc.

All of that is being done behind the scenes though… You may not actually see any of it. From the outside looking in, you did your part, the long, long journey is finally nearing its end. You decided, then you submitted your offer that was accepted… Every step of your journey has been filled with emotion… Now what… nothing… You wait…

Behind the sense so much is being done to actually implement the transaction, but on the surface, you are just waiting for your closing date and to be handed the keys to your new home.

When you were looking it was emotional… when you submitted your offer it was emotional… when your offer was accepted it was emotional and you know that your closing date will also be emotional… but right now you are in an emotional limbo. You have done all that you can do and you know that it is just a matter of time before you are at the closing to dot the “I’s” and cross the “T’s” and your new life begins…

But for now… You wait… You know that important things have been done… You know that behind the scenes, right now, more important things are being accomplished… You know that there are last minute concessions on both parts to keep the deal together and everything right on track… but for now you wait… you wait for the realtor to call and bring you in for that, oh so important, closing…

Does this story remind you at all of what you are feeling right now regarding your Dinar Investment? The deals were signed on June 30th, 2011. July 1st, 2011 began a whole new day for Iraq, the news tells us of these agreements and huge, tangible accomplishments of epic proportions. News since June 30th tells us that things are being accomplished behind the scenes to implement those agreements… but right now we wait…

On one hand we are so excited that these monumental accomplishments have been achieved. On the other hand we know that some things take a little time to implement and we are reminded that the international economy of Iraq is only 11 days old. At the same time, we are emotionally spent, somehow saving that last bit of emotion, that we’ve held in our reserve thanks, for that phone call that says… “Closing time” is here, the RV has happened!!!!
