Finally, a non-pumper site.

I've been a member of many dinar sites. I've been banned from most of them for voicing my opinion when a site turns to the dark side and starts committing fraud and allowing ads that are links to unscrupulous sites or sites with malware. I've also been banned for pointing out that certain pumpers are using multiple different IDs to pump and try to defraud people. I've been banned for pointing out that the RV hasnt happened yet, despite what pumpers like TurdKing say. I've had owners of a site which I considered to be a non-pumper site suddenly start "personally vouching" for pumpers like OkieSnakeOilMan. As AB said on a different post, no pumper knows what's really going to happen. Only spend what you can afford to lose. Only buy from banks or other verified sites. Iraq's own finance minister had a scam going where he was exchanging counterfeit dinars (printed in Iran) for US currency in Iraq, so counterfeit dinars exist. There are many who speculate that pumpers are so consistently, vigorously pumping not just for personal gain, but so they can sell counterfeit dinars and use the money to fund terrorist acts. I'm not sure if that's the case but it's still a good reason to only buy from reputable dealers.
As for RV dates/rates, when I first actively began following dinars, the pumpers were promoting rates between $.30 and $1.45. Now pumpers like TurdKing/OkieSnakeOilMan, and the rest are up to $6, sometimes even $8. It's simple. They're making up rates to try to get people to buy NOW, and they believe sheeple (those who worship pumpers) will buy more if the rate's higher. As AB said, nobody knows the date/rate. Well, someone in Iraq's government might, but they sure as heck wouldnt be sitting on multiple Dinar sites, spewing RV dates every 2 or 3 days. Dont listen to the lies, do your own research, and play my favorite game "Spot the pumper"..
This is the last dinar website I'll join. Almost every one before has been bought out, with pumpers pretending to be the orginal owner so they can keep credibility, or else the owner was persuaded to become a pumper. The pumpers actively recruit non-pumper websites, and they have a high success rate. I posted an article a couple years ago, entitled "The lifecycle of a pumper website". That article is apparently being used as a template for pumpers now, because there have been many websites that have followed the progression documented there meticulously.
At any rate, I have high hopes for this particulare site and I hope Im not disappointed.

Thanks for the post dfek, and also your opinion of the site, you being a veteran of these sites like myself it means a great deal to me that you felt compelled to give your honest opinion of this forum.

I am well aware that it will not have the numbers the other sites do but that also means very little to me as my primary goal has always been to provide information related to the Iraqi Dinar, good, bad , or indifferent as well as information on a few other things that interest me.

I also want to take this opportunity to mention something about the "advertising" near the top of the forum pages.

I have the option of paying a little each month to have the advertisements removed or I can allow them and pay nothing. I have chosen, for now, to pay nothing and I can honestly state to members this site costs zero to operate.

Other than my time and effort there is no overhead involved with this site, there is no monetary compensation involved either...... in layman's terms I have spent nothing on this site and I make nothing off of this site.

I have one section for a friend of mine "Larrythebastige" titled "Larry's Art Corner" that contains his artwork.

I posted this in that section but apparently one site is unable to understand the concept of doing something for someone and not expecting anything in return, as that is exactly the case in "Larry's Art Corner" and they have taken the opportunity to warn you, the member, of sites that try to sell you anything "even paintings" well I am not trying to sell you anything as the paintings do not belong to me and I receive nothing for them appearing on my site. If you like his paintings and you buy one from him that transaction is between you and Larry, I have NOTHING to do with it and I receive NOTHING for it other than the satisfaction of seeing a friends artistic efforts appreciated. If others cannot fathom that concept I believe it is testimony to their character not mine.

Thank you for voicing your opinion of the site dfek as always your opinion is appreciated, and it also allowed me to explain a couple of other things that make this site unique. I did not say better or worse just different, there are a couple of other sites out there that I have developed a considerable level of respect for.

To start with "Thank You" dfek for your post, you can't imagine what it means to me to have you appreciate this site.

Todd and I have known you for awhile and yes I've seen you be treated unfairly because your belief in facts and honesty, and your choice not to follow the crowd but to form your own thoughts and opinions. Also like you we have seen people that we thought were good turn greedy, which is something I don't understand at all.

I believe most people are good, but in this investment I have seen traits in people I frankly can not grasp. Todd and I live our lives without drama, we don't argue over anything, life is just to short to waste on drama. Luckily Todd and I neither one believe in greed, envy or jealousy either, what a waste of time. Neither one of us have a need to have followers, this site will never be a huge site because we don't want to have followers, what we want is to have a site for friends, and hopefully it helps people in this investment read and learn about this investment.

I have said many times I personally love this investment, it's the perfect investment for me. I believe in reading and learning about what you put your money into, and there isn't a better person in this investment at finding the real news and what is interesting then ToddS (Todd). Todd gets a lot of invitations to join other sites, and he is a member of almost all sites, but he wanted this site so no one could ever use him again.
