9-14-2011 Guru Rich In TX I am not disapointed that it didn't happen this weekend, because I didn't expect it to. the redenomination and any increase in value will not / can not occur until the new, low denoms are out. That clearly hasn't happened. This ride is going to be a little bit longer than a lot of people are expecting, I think.

9-13-2011 Guru TonyTNT I did get a call that it was supposed to start on the Hong Kong board around 8:30 pm and then when it gets to the US board it would be activated. Not that it would be live...that as each market opens the rate would be placed in their system and once back at the US would become live simultaneously in every system sometime in the am. We will know if it was true in the morning. It is saying $7.37 - $4.41 to gbp. I am hearing may not be the final rate. That won’t lock until goes all the way through.

9-13-2011 Guru Checkmate Heard that the KWD did not revalue. For the KWD to happen before the iqd doesn’t make sense to me. I just got a call that it happened in China….over $7.00 and some people saying tied to gbp… I don‘t think so for either.

9-13-2011 Guru Delta another article yesterday from the Financial Minister that said in 2012, inflation has to be no more than 5%. If it is at 7% now, how are you going to fix it without revaluing before that? They are contradicting themselves in these articles that are coming out about not RVing until 2012. by all indications it will come out .86...once all the 3 zeros are pulled back in... then the rate will go up higher to make the lower denoms go farther, do more, have more leverage by having a more powerful rate!

Something tangible is happening that is causing the buy and sell rate to fluctuate. the lifting of the 3-0's has been approved. The budget was approved at the $3.2108 rate plus a 20%... ($3.86). the rate has been passed and they are getting ready to release it. this can’t go on much longer, because there is no more money in Iraq! They cannot function without the money.

Calls from UST saying it is done, we’ll see it today or tomorrow and even told me the rate. 3 letter guy…was contacted by somebody higher up in his agency that told him...will see it today. a govt. source called to say...will see it today. Have a huge, huge source out of Iraq who gives us something every couple of months, they called to say there will be an official announcement...it is ready today. UST said anytime today or tomorrow. from 4 different agencies...banks are seeing... 4.41 bank rate, 5.23 CBI rate to the GBP.
