I had just read on another blog that Wells Fargo
had taken the auto message that they were not taking Dinars off of their
recording so I decided to call. The woman I spoke with said, “Yes we have taken
that message off but we are not at least in the near future going to be buying
or selling Iraqi Dinar” Why? “We were told at a meeting in January that we
would not be buying or selling, then in March we were told that if we were to
ever buy or sell a currency as “big” as the Iraqi Dinar that they would WF would
have to have 18 months to prepare for transactions that large.” We haven’t
heard anything that they have been preparing so until they give us the 18 month
notice that they are preparing, I don’t see that happening”. I called the WF
Currency exchange number on their website and chose the international currency
option #2.

So they have taken the recording off of their phones but
they have not been told they will be buying or selling yet. She did use the
word “big” when referring to the Iraqi Dinar…I think that’s a great
sign!

This is not garbage..this is what I heard from the international
teller myself at WF.
