As the planets of our solar system orbit around the Sun, they move into mathematical relationships with one another. These relationships are called "transits." Important Transits for 2011 -

Since 2008, we've been in a highly transformational time. The last two years were dominated by an on-going opposition between Saturn (Sobek) and Uranus (Wadjet), which ended last summer in a powerful t-square also involving Pluto (Osiris) and Jupiter (Horus). The theme of the last two years has been endings - ending of our world as we've known it, including the economic domination of the United States on the world stage. Virtually everyone has been affected in some way by planetary events. In essence, this has been a death time. All deaths are also births and, just as with a new-born baby, it is impossible to know the character and personality of the new being that has been born.

2011 brings a transition into a new era, highlighted by the movement of Uranus (Wadjet) firmly into the fire sign Aries (Kephera) and Neptune's slow transition into Pisces (Sothis). Uranus and Neptune are two of the three generational planets (Pluto is the third). These planets are so far out in the solar system they stay in a sign of a zodiac for a very long time. Pluto transitioned into Capricorn (Khnum) in 2008; now Uranus and Neptune move into new signs. We truly are at the beginning of a new era.

Neptune symbolically represents imagination and creativity - the shadow side being illusion, delusion and confusion. Nephthys, the Egyptian counterpart of Neptune, is the twin sister of Isis, sometimes called the "veiled Isis." Nephthys is the keeper of the mysteries. Seductive and elusive, she invites us to step beyond the boundaries of our present reality and through this process reap the rewards of creativity and illumination.

Neptune turns retrograde on June 3 on the first degree of the water sign Pisces. Throughout the last several weeks our planet has been innundated by water. Rivers have swollen and escaped their boundaries, lives have been flooded, and emotions have run freely. Change is never easy and particularly not so when the forms we rely on are disappearing before our eyes. Neptune reminds us that nothing is as it seems - reality is fluid and ever-changing. Throughout the month of Gemini the influence of Neptune remains strong. We are invited to leave behind our perception of reality and open to the unknown realms.

Saturn, the Old King Sobek in the Egyptian pantheo, turns direct on June 12 in the air sign Libra. There could not be a more opposite energy from Neptune than that found in Saturn. Sobek is the crocodile-headed god of ancient Egypt, associated with the Greek god Kronos who was so afraid of his children that he swallowed them whole. Sobek is the ultimate god of the earth, determined to hold on to the old form in all areas of expression - old structures that no longer serve us, old concepts that have out-lived their usefulness, old bodies that hang on through pain and suffering - refusing to let go. There is a place for this energy, for it is Sobek that grounds us firmly in our bodies so that our soul may have a vehicle during our time on Earth. However, he sometimes hangs on long after it is time to let go, and during Saturn stationary periods we become aware of these outworn ways of being. Saturn remains stationary throughout the month of Gemini and its influence will be strongly felt on planet Earth.

The month of Gemini also brings a Solar and a Lunar Eclipse. A partial New Moon Solar Eclipse will take place on June 1 at Gemini 12 degrees; two weeks later a total Full Moon Lunar Eclipse will take place on June 15 at Sagittarius 25 degrees. Eclipses represent a time of intense change on planet Earth - something is dying while something else is being birthed. The time between the two eclipses is particularly important, for this is when we are in the birth canal, caught between the passing of the old and the birth of the new. It is important to note that the stations of Neptune and Saturn take place within the two week period between the two eclipses (Neptune on June 3; Saturn on June 12). The flood of energy - both within us individually as well as in the external world - is not likely to subside during this period but rather to hold constant. The waters continue to dissolve away the old forms and, for awhile, this dissolution becomes the constant form. We are in a time of letting go - we have no choice but to stand in the void and trust that the new form will manifest in due course.

The I AM presence is the light that we are and if we’re to create anything, we must direct the energy toward that creation and nothing more. Right now, we are on the apex of either bringing in all the light, in full trust, or choosing to remain in the dark.

When one person holds the balance of the 257 frequency, thousands will also hold it unknowingly which is why it is so important for us to remain in balance. We are all here to heal ourselves, and in healing ourselves, humanity also heals. If we’re not conscious when creating, someone else will create for us.

When we are in that place of creation, we need to be confident in our ability to manifest our heart’s desires. Because when we’re unsure, or wishy washy, that is exactly what we’ll receive in return… wishy washy results. Creation brings with it a greater sense of joy and excitement which is why we cannot create with cautious, or lack of confidence.

Our thoughts and words are extremely powerful, and scattering our energy out of fear will only keep us in a place that doesn’t offer any peace or joy. There’s always a choice in life, and a decision is not the same as choice. We choose to decide, and it is that decision that propels us into action.
